I want to start house churches but not by taking sheep from other churches. So starting church with evangelism.

I am not an outgoing person. In reading the Bible Matthew 4:19 I see that gifted or not that is what Christ is asking of me. To reach others for Christ. and make disciples. Matthew 28:18-20

Does anyone have any experience in this? IE practical ideas on what worked for them? Below is a web site that may be helpful to me.

Here is my web page article with links to Salvation and evangelism. Yet I have not had success in over 20 years. 25 years ago I led 2 people to Christ in Mexico when I was a missionary there.

Knowledge is not my problem. It is approaching people and being led of the Holy Spirit. I am spending more and more time in prayer.

I have different tracts. Some simple, others in depth. One thing I am looking for in handing out tracts, is people that respond. This might be an opening for a discussion of spiritual things.
Found another market that has many people walking around outside.

Also 2 St. Pat's parades are coming up. These are opportunities to hand out tracts.
The parade on St. Pat's day I am going with others which I am excited about. This is an opportunity to learn from them. The one before St. Pat's day is a family event. The one on St Pat's day is more for adults. A lot of alcohol. Pray that I will speak with boldness about Christ with the Spirit. Thanks
Not all sheep are being feed. In many of those cookie cutter denominational churches. Heck I was going to a Vineyard several years ago and there was a man who was in a leadership role and had never gotten saved. In all the time he went there he never heard the plan of salvation. Then there are those Protestant churches were people think they get saved when they are baptized as a baby. What I am saying is there are lost folks who go to church every Sunday.
The simpliest way to share Christ is to share your own witness. Explain how Christ came into your life. Write it out so you have a short version and a long version.
I agree with you. I see your perspective in line with someone's closer circle of influence. Honestly, some people don't even know where to begin. A lot of people are honesty afraid and more afraid of being rejected. That is normal. It is actually easier to talk with someone on the street about Christ than with your neighbor. Your neighbor sees you every day. You have to live Christ.
Gentlemen, I have so enjoyed this discussion. It has shown me the wisdom that God gives, and the experiences that He allows us to learn from. His body reaching out for help and receiving. The hope that when we bump our heads enough that it causes us to say "Thank you Jesus and how about I just give this to you for awhile :)"
We have such a friend in Jesus, sometimes the more we go through the wilderness the closer He appears.
I sensed such a love of God throughout this discussion, men who's hearts are for Him and are at different stages in their journey. How encouraging.
Enjoy His day and be blessed that He found us and we can shine His light.
