This is what the sins were.
Ezek. 16:49
“‘Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.

Does this sound like America: God have mercy on us.

Romans 1: 24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. This was from Paul’s letter to the Romans. This is what is going on here in America. Homosexuality is a vile affection is this passage. Things that are vile are in darkness. This doesn’t refer to temple prostitutes here it is about all homosexuals. I call these so called gay churches as white-out churches. They do not underline or highlight verses they white-out the ones that they do not like. Proverbs 16:25. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Homosexuality seems right to some but not to GOD. Only GOD’s will is what matters to me.

So I have shown that the sin of homosexuality was very present in Sodom, But I personally believe it was not because of homosexuals that GOD destroyed Sodom. Homosexuality was only and outward sign of their wickedness. Genesis 20:18. And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous. There sin was grievous and that sin was homosexuality. Genesis 18:25. That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? 26. And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. You see there were wicked. Homosexuality is an outward sign of a wicked person. Even if they do all sorts of good deeds and say they it is because of love, it is a deception. God did not make anyone a homosexual that is a lie. We were all born into sin and sin is therefore our natural tendency. We are as you would say predestined to sin. But we choose to follow after the flesh or after GOD.

Is America becoming more like Sodom and Gomorrah. I think that is obvious. America continues to become more immoral and our sins become more grievous. When Homosexuals are called good and born again Christians are called bad. I think we many be closer that we think. Is God’s judgment on this land? September eleventh made it clear God’s hand of protection is no longer among us. Homosexuals should go to church to get saved and become moral lovers of Christ. But instead homosexuals have taken over many churches and made the churches lovers of the world. Churches that now ordain queers and marry same sex perverts, yet never mention salvation and if they do it is salvation without repentance which is no salvation at all. This is the work of Darkness. We must not let the world in our church. It is like a cancer can start by just a little expectance to when a church will become an instrument of Satan.

Many people to day are in Sodom. I am referring to those who live as slaves to there sin. Romans 6:17. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19. I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. 20. For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 21. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death. 22. But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see if we repent of our sins. And believe in the lord Jesus Christ. The we can be saved. I will give the full plan of salvation at the end on this article. Those who are slaves to sin can be freed of there sins. You can be free. I mean even homosexuality. If you really want out of Sodom there is a way out. Just like Lot he was freed from Sodom and can any homosexual living in the sin of Sodom. If you repent turn toward GOD and away from sin. Lot’s wife did not repent because she looked back and she was no more. Genesis 19:26. But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt. That is why repentance is so

Michael, my experiences with such groups for more than 20 years now is pretty much the same. Some of them broke up over childish things, such as fleshly disputes, others because they wanted that "religious fix" like spiritual junkies…

Malcolm, I agree with Elaine that this succinct presentation is very helpful. Thank you. The one matter of baptism(s) has been an issue that has occasioned the setting of God's children against one another for almost 2000 years, with such…

The Unseen War by David Kortje

A few weeks back I shared a book review with all of you as I felt it was worthy of your reading. This week I find myself doing the same thing again. You are probably wondering if I have suddenly become a “book reviewer” which of course is not the case at all. In fact quite the contrary. The thing is that for the first time in a very long time I have picked up two books that have really impressed something new in my heart. Not necessarily because the topic was new but more so because of the way…See More

Great story, Michael -- and a good analogy. Two options: contriving a sense of safety/ control or trusting the God who reveals. One is an illusion; the other is life.

I know I'm responding to myself, but I had idea. I like stories; sometimes they teach us about ourselves.  A couple of weeks ago I needed some engine work done on an old Chevy.  Tired of paying a mechanic…

I like reading both sides of the issue, and then reading for myself what is written in the Bible. Some thieves have PhD's, and some don't.
