I think it is just so fantastic that you can connect or even think of connecting there. I just hope and pray that your efforts be blessed. I had traveled much when younger and remember what it is like to speak slowly hoping that the most rudimentary ideas are conveyed to a cheerful but mostly uncomprehending local.

Thanks for your encouragement... This is a great place to be and extremely challenging, especially here in Greece. We find the people in Albania much more open. In Albania the opportunities are openeing up, here in Greece we continue with the hard slog! However yesterday we were with a whole group of locals, mostly mixed marriages ... so we press into the Lord and seek to do Kingdom here!

Viola and others have commented on the tramendous influence ancient Greece has had on Christianity. Do you think Greece has changed much in 2000 years? Just kidding..I think the Samaritan woman at the well is full of lessons of outreach. She is convinced and gets the whole town who then see for themselves.
Americans have mostly lost thier town relationships but in Greece and Albania it must be still strong?
Most immigrants coming to America reflect village life which is why they are often so cohesive. I have the theory that if you meet one person in a village you sort of meet the whole village. -
