Six years ago, after being shown that I was neither good enough for the world or for God's Kingdom, I purchased a Bible and for the first time on my own being led by the Holy Spirit I was being show the truth of the Word of God, and eventually would come to a full understanding of the person and the saving work of Jesus Christ. However, a year later instead of letting the Holy Spirit do the work in me that He was supposed to do I allowed myself to enter institutional church, saw my growth stunted, and i became institutionalized myself. No longer did I have a real personal relationship with Christ, instead it became organized work, going through the motions, and it allowed sin in my life to grow. Now, 6 years after the work began, and after many signs the Lord was giving me, I am back to where God wants me to be...in the wilderness. I wait patiently for the Lord to lead me to HIS church, to HIS body, to brothers and sisters I can call family, that I can see face to face, not back of the heads and necks, not wait until one weeknight to have a glorified bible study, but to actually participate with as the Lord intended in the pages of the New Testament. The Lord will guide me to HIS church on the day He chooses fit. Until then, I guess you can call me a free agent.
From a modern day Anabaptist (in spirit.)
