Hi Frank, I'll never forget Norwegian Independence day for the fun shenanigans and, it's two days before before my own birthday. Thanks for your prayers for organic church here in Reston.It sounds like your going to make a decision.

Your Philaphans street kid ministry sounds noble and an adventure.

I don't know how to go about trying to teach people about organic church. Kenny's interviews with Viola seem a good first step, IF a person is initially interested. It's funny how you'll hear a lot of people say things like, I thought I was crazy or I've been looking for something like that all my life. Viola mentions putting notices on bulletin boards; some way to try and reach those that are initially thinking this way. I think it's real important to find one person with which to meet because then, well you can then meet. The Internet is the modern bulletin board.

I keep thinking about the trend Christianity underwent when it people decided to depart from "encouraging one another as the day approaches" and relating to each other and instead listening to sermons and sitting in pews.

Hello Frank, It's a little early but since we are into May I wanted to wish you a great Norwegian Independance Day, I remember they used to paint the cars up red and blue as I recall, I wonder if they still do that? Things here in Reston may be looking up as I've had a serious inquiry in my meet up group and we should meet next week. I hope things are going well for you there.-Rod

There is with the Lord the feeling that something, is just about to happen. I hope you find a organic expression of God's church soon. I was there two years. When I was there many Norwegian men were going away to sea for work. One day my older brother in a kind of youthful rebellion also went away to sea. It was quite an adventure.

So your American there on some sort of assignment? I lived there when I was 12, a CIA brat. But Norway was everyone's favorite assignment. I did see someone elese here from Norway. I'm in Reston, VA and hope to join or start a organic church. I had been initially interested in 'cell church" and read about house churches about a year ago in Time Magazene which they predicted would grow. I can relate th that, to people who are earnestly reading thier Bibles and relating one one oneto each other as opposed to just sort of sitting there and watching a program, which is I realize is the worse case of institutional churches.

Another thing I liked was the fish, the trout fishing!
