Our meetings started on the 4th of January,meeting each week and we are available to discuss by phone or email us any questions. k.russell@gottalife.org
We are a family of 3, My wife and I are still young! With an 11yr old daughter. We have been Christians for many years and are missionaries, seeking to be a blessing to the body of Christ, we are from the UK and have devoted our lives nurturing the the needs of the body of Christ.
Our focus is to have an Organic Home Church, a group of Christians who are interested in living, as a shared-life community under the Headship of Jesus Christ.
This kind of home church is to be a gathered community that's having an ongoing encounter and experience of Jesus Christ together. This community will gather often.
We as a family are excited to see what the Lord will do and from our experience the "home church" fellowship creates a real family community spirit with Jesus as the foundation.
Every week we will encourage everyone to bring a food dish for a faith lunch.
Young singles, couples and families are all welcome, really all ages no limits!
We are a lively family filled with the joy of the Lord, so don't think it will be a boring time in this house church!!
We hope you will feel free to share in the meetings but there is no pressure. New Christians are also welcome as our hearts are to help support you if needed.

REIMAGINING CHURCH MEETINGS

We had a great time on Sunday studying the Word together with the children. We looked up the meaning of EDIFICATION - to encourage, intellectual, moral, or spiritual improvement, enlightenment. Charlotte Organic Fellowship - Sunday 28th June
We had a great day sharing testimony of what the Lord "has done" and is doing in our lives. It was a full day of fellowship for the kids also. It was great to learn so much about each other and what the Lord has been doing with divine appointments and life events! What an awesome God we serve we are all so thankful to the Lord for saving us.

There was 16 of us meeting at our home on this rainy day.

- Kenny, thanks for commenting on my blog re: Gene E's book. I think he gives some good practical advice. I found it very encouraging for where I am in my journey right now. When I read something or listen to someone, I try to hear what God's speaking to me thru it... to glean what He has for me in the midst of it all. Certainly, I would hope that the Body would recognize the wisdom, experience and calling of any visiting apostle or prophet. I think it's part of us becoming who He is calling us to be corporately... the sensibility to discern the different parts of the Body present, and allowing everyone the freedom to function... to be who they are.
I feel like Gene was saying that it would be hard for a group of Believers who had always been in the institutional church system to meet and feel free to be themselves with a professional in their midst. Generally speaking, professionals have very strong tendencies to take over and lead things rather than allow God to lead and put things together as He desires. I am guessing, from what I've read and heard, that if Frank Viola joined our fellowship one afternoon, he would not try to "take over". I also know that we would be very interested to talk with him and hear all that he might have to share with us. I imagine that Frank might lead without being "the leader". It seems to me that is how it should be.
