Andrea asked me how we came to start gathering with our little group. I am so wordy that a simple reply was rejected for too many words so I am writing this as a blog post.
We live in a small community on Vancouver Island in Canada. Like so many small communities, you may not know everyone but there are a lot of familiar faces everywhere you go. Then when you break that down to the Christian community in a small place. Well, again you may not know everyone but you sure find that if…

Andrea Lemelin said… Hello Leah,
Thank you so much for sharing. It was such an encouragement for me to read your story. Vancouver Island is such a beautiful place, you are blessed to live there. I am also a fellow Canadian...born in Hamilton,Ontario.
My discontent escalated after being involved in a large non- denominational church with a $43.5 million building project in Orlando, FL. It was complete craziness & church became all about the building. I felt lead to write a book, but really did not want to because that isn't my gift. I then found Frank Viola's books and drove in and was so THANKFUL for them. My desire is to be part of an Organic church, but am feeling challenged w/ finding like- minded believers. I do remind myself that God's timing is perfect, so I pray for patients too!
Again thank you so much for sharing my sister in Christ!
In Him,
Andrea
Andrea Lemelin said… Hello Leah,
It is a blessing to know you are gathering w/ other believers! What a gift. How did the Lord orchestrate "the coming together" of the group? Are you perhaps going to the Organic church conference in Orlando?
May the Lord bless you w/ all that He has for you.
Rejoicing with you,
Andrea
Jim London said… Hi, Leah. I just now came across your note to me posted May 12. Thank you for your update. That was our travel day back from a 3 week trip to the UK, primarily in Scotland and Wales, where we hiked and climbed to have our breath repeatedly taken away by the deposits of God's beauty upon the landscape there. He is so stunningly amazing in His works!
I'm particularly pleased to read these words withtin your note: "... we are seeing something so precious emerging that it is hard to articulate. In all of this my love for Jesus is growing so deeply as I begin to see Him in others. Now I am looking for Him and finding Him." He rewards those who look for Him by letting them find Him!
Leah, please be encouraged to sustain your vigilance in being attentive to Him. Discovering Him can never be exhausted. He is so inexhaustible, that I suspect that for eternity we will be in awe as we continue to learn of Him. Ready for eternal awe?
May you have the blessing of experiencing His growing revelation in the context of partnership with others. It truly is among the best fellowship we can have on earth!
Jim

Rob Ross said… Hi Leah, It is good to meet you. Unfortunately I did not get to go and hear Jon Zens. However, it is exciting to see the number of Canadians being called to participate in God's plan for His people. Blessings, Rob
"I see you are from Calgary. That is my home town. My husband Dave and I are very new to this concept but wow what a wonderful journey we are on. Were you or anyone you know at the the weekend that Jon Zens spoke at recently in Calgary. I have come to appreciate Jon very much. His writing for sure and the bit of contact via email. Good to see there are some Western Canadians on board."
