Praise Almighty God! It seems to be a day in which God is doing his plan. It il linked by the omer count to Passover see Leviticus 23. I was baptised on Pentacost as were the 3000 and 500 in Kenya!

Pentecost is not a ritual. It is a practise. It is the commemoration of the birthday of the New Testament church. It has to be celebrated by bringing in the harvest of souls. Worship and jubilation has to be associated with such an important day. In…

Rod, I was rolling with laughter at your story. That sounds so African, brother! I thought that was in some village in Kenya. This reminds me that human beings have the same mannerisms all over the world. In Africa, your neighbour would be called a…

World War One Christmas Party!

Posted on May 10, 2009 at 3:57pm 3 Comments

There is a story I heard about a Christmas party that was held during World War One. Troops on both sides of the fight, like Germans and English and Germans and French put down their arms and started relating to each other one on one. It started slowly like maybe some music was produced on one camp and joined in slowly by oposing soldiers who just the day before were shooting at each other. Then as they came started to come together they shared presents from home. Food and cookies that sort of… Continue

Christ our Wave Shief

We read in Leviticus 23 about one of the most little known or much thought about of the Spring Feasts of the Lord:9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 ?Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ?When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. .....14… Continue

Do All people fit into Organic Churches or Simple Churches?

Posted on March 18, 2009 at 9:50pm 3 Comments

Do all people fit in to Organic churches or simple churches? It may be at least for this post that people can be divided into three diffrent catorgies:

A types- A types are interactive. They love to call people up and talk. They send emails. They initiate conversation. They suffer when long sermons are given.

B types are in the middle they have some of both groups

C types- are sort of introverted. They answer the phone with how can I help you. They never send… Continue

Nah, I'm born and raised in Norwegian but I'm sure He want something, especial after He turned me up side down. I have been an "elder" in a institutional church for 5 years, but after He meet me for 2 years ago and wipe out all I had learn about church and to be a christian I felt i fall between all chairs. Through this years He have led me and teach me.

Now I have find my place in Him and also find other with the same mind here on net. I have find some with same mind in Norway too but its not near my place. Far as I know its not many "organic" knowing christians in Norway, i feel they have it in their heart but the failure is they are afraid to take a step out of the tradition. Oh as I wish they "know" God through relationship instead of programs. I hope to have a organic church here soon. :) I let God work with their heart and i am ready to gather. If a Norwegian cross your path, say a greeting from Norway :)

Hope you find an organic church or start one. I'm exciting to see christ rise up "organic bodies" around. Bless you.

Hi Rod, thanks a lot for your message. If you think its too early i think my answer is a bit too late hehe... :p Thank you for your greetings and i want to greet you the same. Yes the students here paint the car red and blue, drive around and are noisy, play loud music and howl all night long. They are finish at 17. may where we have our independence day. I do really hope your gatherings grow and i like to pray for it. Here is the same, still alone with my thoughts and opinion about the church. But i have never felt me more sure about my choice and feel i'm even stronger. God is great and i have also experience He have lead people to ask me about it too.

Right now i feel God draw me to Philippines to help out a friend there who run a organization for street-kids. Actually a long story but my first time there was back in 2007 and i left my heart there i guess. Now i go back and i think i will stay 1 year, and even longer if God want. Still i want to inform my friends back here in Norway about Organic Church. I plan to make a blog to inform and write all i get from God, this site, you, books and other sources.

So thank you Rod, for your concern and greetings. God bless you! :)

We have benefited from visitors coming to stay with us here at our orphanage spending their time teaching, singing and playing with the children. we would warmly welcome you here. yes, Quite true. "Doing Church" in house with out the Organic content, is just switching buildings.  We as people tend to compartmentalize areas of our life. Church in this part, school in this part, marriage in this part,…

Michael Hartson commented on Jim London's blog post 'What do we do when there is no group to join?'
When I think about the most significant points in my Christian walk, they did not take place in an organized, institutionalized environment.  It was incidental to my world, but wholly intentional by God.

Michael Hartson replied to Michael Hartson's discussion 'Why Can't Christian's Hang Out?'
Sure, it's intentional.  God is responsible for the Results, we are responsible for the action.  God asks us to share our lives, talk to others about him, love others.  Who gets saved, or what a person does or does not do or what…
