just a quick Hello to say how lovely to see another UK address on this site. My wife, Louise, and I are now exploring an organic church expression in our home town of Elgin in the North East of Scotland and are beginning to network with other's of a similar persusasion.
Maybe we can keep in touch, and who knows, if you're ever up here we could meet.
I'm also fairly active on Facebook and as a blogger.
I've been an Albaphile since the age of 8 and went to Aberdeen to get my pharmacy degree. Been in Elgin since 87 and such a long testimony of the Lord's grace & upholding since then.
I'm an ex-Pentecostal Pastor having recently left the Church of God last year in Feb 08 and have been to San Diego twice to hang out with Gary Goodell and some 3rd Dayers over there. Last April we brought Gary and Tim Crozier over here to run one of Gary's training courses.
I'm hungry and keen to grow into my new expression & to roll out the model under the leading of the Holy Spirit. We currently meet as a group of between 5 and 8 in various homes and are so blessed by the richness and intimacy we are discovering. We've called ourselves Jasciah which stands for Just Another Simple Church In A House.
Louise and I are currently reading Floyd McClung's book "You see bones..." and have been trying to link up with them for planter training...also read loads of Viola, Dale, Simson, Nee, Miller. et al
So my blog is here http://worldzend.wordpress.com/ & is probably a fairly easy way to suss out my strengths and weaknesses.
