I am not against the Church or going to church

I am against the idea that there is anything particularly holy or sacred about simply going to a weekly meeting; listening to a speech, singing a few songs, and patting Brother Joe on the back and pretending to be his bud.

I am against the attitude that says: "My church is better than your church."

I am against the notion of the Church being led by a man rather than Jesus Christ.

I am against the hierchichal pecking order found in most denominations.

I am against following the commandments of men over the commandments of God.

I am against cleaning the outside, while neglecting what matters most on the inside.

I am against choosing form over authenticity.

I am against choosing good moral teaching over relationship. (with God and with each other) I hear that was a pretty big commandment or something.

I am not against the Church of Jesus Christ of which I am a part of because of Him and not any worth or merit on my behalf.

I am all for believers gathering together to share in Christ's life.

I am all for gathering with, investing my life in others for the sake of being the body of Christ to a lost and broken world.

I am all for being the "priesthood of believers" that we are.

Rather than submitting to a man who is God's spokesman for us.

I'm all for being God's house where He dwells rather than calling a building made by man "the house of God."

I am all for the Church of Jesus Christ!
