Organic Church

There are many areas we cover through our ministry and I was delighted to announce at the start of 2009 the Lord has directed us to focus on and support the “Organic Church”. Over the past few years our family’s living habits have changed drastically due to moving from the UK to the USA and it was a real eye opener to see what the majority of Americans eat here!
We made the decision to try our best to eat mainly organic foods where possible and drink healthy super fruits “MonaVie” (copy this link into your browser for more information www.Mymonavie.com/gottalife). We even got rid of most bleaches and chemicals from our home and for a season had our own chickens and ducks (help me Lord!)
Yes it sounds like we are health freaks I know, but our decision is to survive and reduce the chance of disease and serve the Lord for many years to come. My wife Hayley has also, over the past few months been wearing tops with “Organic” written on them and I know we have all got the message “keep away from the fast food chains” and watch what you eat.

Why say all this?

Because there are very few people who will disagree with us regarding protecting our health and many reading this will be health conscious too, if not please wake up!
But when it comes to the health of the body of Christ why is there so much disagreement?
I found the answer of many questions I have had for years.

The Church today is sick
(Many would say - “so you call this news, we have known this for years!”)

Many are seeking to live right but are partaking of the wrong spiritual diet and have been blindly following the advertisements and enticements to conduct our spiritual lives in a certain way. With promises so you can be in the blessings of the Lord if you serve their vision or give your tithe or an offering and of course you must be in fellowship, don’t be a wandering Christian we will help you find your place in the walls of the Church!
Even the healing revivals can’t make this sickness better because the church is still drinking polluted water! We need to change and get back to the Bible and stop listening to non biblical persuasion. We must avoid Paganism in Christianity and deal with it.

Through all these years ministering in and to the body of Christ, I observe great needs in the body of Christ and the disconnection because the body of Christ has been reduced to spectators instead of participators ministering to the body of Christ. Throughout the years I have sought to open the spiritual eyes of the people to pursue God, to seek first His Kingdom, to remain in the vine and know the Father, Son and Holy Spirit intimately. My life Message is “the reality of God” which is the key to every message I have ever ministered on, but this message of knowing God is continually chocked in the majority and the same people are still in the dark concerning the will of God for their lives. For the past year our family has been challenged by the Lord to study and remove pagan practices from our Christian lives which started with Easter, we now partake in Passover. Valentines Day, of course Halloween (which we never celebrated not even an alternative church car park trunk or treat!) and Christmas! Oh boy, why Christmas I can hear many say? Is it not about the birth of the Messiah? Go and research it for yourselves and tell me what you discover. We now celebrate Hanukah knowing that Jesus is the light of the World with 8 days of thanksgiving to the Lord for his hand on our lives as well as Israel.

Aliens just passing through

Because of our pursuit as a ministry, we have spent a few years trying to find people of like mind; without much success. Most people want to back away from the truth because they are happy with the way things are! We are not looking for passive Christians but those seeking to know the Lord and grow in the fellowship of the Spirit! Coming to the close of 2008 the Lord woke me early one morning and spoke to me saying “throw your nets on the right side of the boat and you will find some (fish)”. I immediately jumped up and went to my office to seek the Lord and ask what it all meant and for 2 weeks the journey continued. I followed the Lords leading to understand what this meant as the rhema words of the Lord manifested more and more in my heart each day. God gave me so much from John 21, telling me that we were about to walk into the new. I stumbled across the book “Pagan Christianity” by Frank Viola and George Barna. I am so glad I did!
This book is a must read and I fully endorse it. I have spoken out about so much of the content written in this book over the years but I never knew the extent of error in the established so called “church institution”. This was a huge eye opener and I have to follow the highway of the Lord and adjust my life by giving my full attention to the “Organic Church”! How else can the body of Christ be healthy?

Back to the “Organic Church”

I believe this is one of the most important mission assignments we have undertaken in the last 10 years as a ministry team!
We have been a traveling/broadcast ministry for many years which has allowed us to witness firsthand the failure of the Christian institutions many call the church today instead of living as the church. Therefore we are getting back to the “Organic Church” understanding - the explosive house church/organic church, which has completely engulfed the vision and direction of Gottalife ministry. This “Organic Church” is nothing new as over 112 million Christians use nothing else other than the book of Acts as a model for church. I was researching and discovered that “every year it is estimated, one million Christians leave the institutional church in the United States. Presently, the number of adult Christians meeting in house church/organic churches in the USA is five million.”
