In 1969-70 Monroe was to be the third town I did mission work in. The mission opened as, "The One Way Coffee House". It was located on Hwy 165 North where it was reported over 260 young people came to know Yahshua, The Messiah who most have come to know by the name, "Jesus Christ".

In the week of November 19, 1993, I brought my mother home to live with me while she was battling cancer. She transferred form "The Lady of The Lake Hospital" in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to "St. France Hospital" in Monroe, Louisiana. When Mother was released I had the privilege of her presence in my life until she graduated to glory in 1997. It was during this time I began the thought process that was to lead me into an all out quest beginning in 1997 to learn why there was so much discord within the organized church and why with hundreds of building churches in our parish preaching love several times a week that women and children where sleeping in vacant buildings and vehicles in the mist of all them.
